When I’m not working at the university teaching robotics and embedded systems, I’m usually working on creating the Mystery Challenge for Defcon, the world’s largest hacker conference.

In the past I have worked at Parallax and continue to endorse their products.

I love languages and linguistics, from the perspective of a futurist and a hacker-  I see learning mathematics (the language of science and physics) as no different from learning to speak Korean or Chinese.  Programming languages are simply the native tongues of compilers; C++ is merely a dialect that allows you to talk to the machine.

I’ll add reviews of electronics products as seen through the eyes of a hardware hacker (contact me if you have a product you’d like me to review).
